[Case Study] Specialized Response for Weighing Designated Chemical Substances Dust Collection Booth
This is an introduction to cases that have been able to implement legal scattering prevention measures and regular measurements!
This is a case study from a chemical company. Antimony trioxide, used as a flame retardant and pigment, was designated as a specific chemical substance due to legal amendments, requiring measures in accordance with regulations during operations. Specifically, it became necessary to implement emission suppression measures during the process of removing it from bags and weighing it. Therefore, we proposed not only to install exhaust equipment but also to enclose the work area locally with a booth, creating a dedicated weighing exhaust booth for antimony trioxide to achieve dispersion suppression measures. As a result, we were able to comply with the legal dispersion prevention measures and conduct regular measurements. [Issues] ■ Antimony trioxide, which affects human health, requires emission suppression measures. ■ Although workers wear dust masks, there is a possibility of inhalation. ■ Other raw materials are also present in the factory, which could mix during weighing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
